Hello! Thank you for visiting my site. As you'll see from viewing my pages I enjoy many different artistic styles and mediums! I am involved in my art community as an active member of several art organizations - I am a member of the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters' Association and past board member of the Maryland Society of Portrait Painters, Annapolis Watercolor Club and founding board member of the Annapolis Arts Alliance. I am also a juried Artist Member of the Maryland Pastel Society and the Maryland Society of Portrait Painters. I have instructed at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts and the Anne Arundel Community College, the Columbia Art Center, as well as holding independent workshops and lessons. My artwork has been shown in several juried and non-juried shows and is displayed in homes and businesses across the country as well as overseas.I am among the artists featured in the book "100 Plein Air Painters of the Mid-Atlantic" by Gary Pendelton (http://www.schifferbooks.com/100-plein-air-painters-of-the-mid-atlantic-5526.html) I welcome commissions of all types, please inquire if you're interested in a special painting! Drawing For Painters
I have developed an online drawing course on UDEMY designed specifically to help painters. Through teaching I discovered common problems that my students ran into based on some of the fundamentals of drawing. In this course I cover the basics to build a strong underlying drawing before beginning to paint.
